How I Help Salesforce Partners Win Deals with Custom Pre-Sales Demos

Since going independent in 2024, I’ve worked on a wide range of Salesforce-related projects. But one of the most surprising, and enjoyable, has been serving as an outsourced builder of pre-sales demos.
This niche role blends creativity, speed, and strategic thinking. And for Salesforce partners or consulting teams short on time or internal resources, it’s become a game-changer.
My Background in Pre-Sales
Before going solo, I worked with several Salesforce partners including Vera Solutions, Cirrico, and Open Box. At Vera, I was officially part of the Solutions Engineering team. At Cirrico and Open Box, I played a more informal role, supporting sales teams by rapidly building tailored Salesforce demos to match client needs.
This experience trained me to:
Understand high-level client requirements quickly
Translate those into clean, engaging, functional demos
Deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
So when I started freelancing, it made perfect sense to continue doing this kind of work, but now for multiple clients.
The InspireAI Project: A Real-World Example
My first official client after leaving corporate life was InspireAI, a Salesforce-based product company. Their ask? Build a series of Agentforce demos to showcase functionality as part of their marketing efforts.
Over the course of the project, I built three custom Salesforce demos, each aligned with different messaging, target personas, and use cases. All three were well received by stakeholders and used across multiple campaigns.
The Urgent Pitch
Midway through the demo work, the InspireAI CEO approached me with a challenge. They had an urgent client pitch. Their internal consultants were fully booked on billable work, and pulling one off a project would have cost both time and revenue.
He needed a complete, client-specific demo, and fast.
The Solution
He sent me the brief, org access, and client requirements on a Friday. Then he left me alone for the weekend.
By Monday morning, I delivered:
A fully branded Salesforce org with the client’s logos, color palette, and industry-specific styling
Sample records aligned with the use case, easy to follow during the demo
Pre-configured users to showcase different personas
A basic Experience Cloud site to simulate the partner view
A simple demo script and suggested flow
The CEO walked through the org, requested minor tweaks, and handed it off to his sales team, ready to present.
Scalable, On-Demand Pre-Sales Support
Since then, I’ve supported multiple consultancies and ISVs with demo creation. In some cases, I’ve built the demo from scratch. In others, I’ve helped in-house solution engineers refine their orgs or get across the finish line ahead of the pitch.
The pattern is always the same:
Sales opportunity comes up fast
Internal teams are stretched thin
The company wants to protect billable hours
They need a skilled, external resource who can hit the ground running
That’s where I come in.
Why Work With Me?
I’m an independent Salesforce consultant with deep experience in pre-sales and demo org development.
No long-term contracts
No limits on ways of working
Just clean, focused delivery
Because I’m not tied to traditional working hours or internal team bandwidth, I can deliver when others can’t. My only goal is to help you win the deal.
Need a Salesforce Demo?
If your team needs a polished, professional Salesforce demo environment for a pitch, event, or campaign, and your internal team is maxed out, let’s talk.
I bring speed, experience, and a proven track record of getting demos over the line.
